Well the first ever Rooted in Love Photography’s Kids Valentine mini sessions were a huge hit. I was a little nervous about any response since I’ve never done any type of Valentine mini sessions but my clients never cease to amaze me with their support.
When I saw that Love marquee sign one day when I was out shopping, the seed was planted and then I kept finding more cute stuff! All it takes is one little seed and I can go crazy!
It was the first time for RIL to have an indoor mini. It was glorious not having to stress over the weather for once. Turns out it was a gorgeous day the day of the session…go figure. I’m part meteorologist when it comes to planning out sessions so it was nice to have one less thing to worry about!
The kids were awesome so while the backdrops helped, the cutie pies were the ones who really made it come together. I went a little overboard on the backdrops and probably should have saved one for next year, but they were all so fun that I couldn’t help it!
Bribes included candy, promise of toys by mom and dad and when I really needed I brought out my secret weapon…my husband. The boys all especially love him because he can get some good laughs.
