Aldon 1 year | Fort Worth cake smash session

Oh this kid just absolutely slays me. I’ve been photographing him since he was still in mom’s belly. I mean I know after meeting his parents that he was going to be a cutie, but I had no idea how this kid needs to be a Baby Gap model.

My family is in L.O.V.E over this precious baby boy. Truly, when I do a session with him, all my kids are in this poor kid’s face wanting to hold him and make him laugh. I have to remind them to give him a little space to give him room to breathe. It’s as exciting as a puppy when he comes over. When I was editing Aldon’s photos, my youngest came into my office and I said, “Isn’t Aldon cute? Don’t you want to eat him up?” Without missing a beat, my youngest said, “Umm hmm, like a sandwich!” My oldest son has mentioned a time or two that he wishes Aldon was his little brother. I think we’re all on board with adopting him.

Many times throughout the session, I was crying from laughing. All of it was so hysterical. Aldon’s mom and I were in stitches wishing the whole session was on video. We started out meeting at their maternity session and over the course of a year, I can most certainly say I consider them friends!

Morgan and Staci, I adore your family to pieces! I can’t even believe that Aldon is already a year. Quickest year of my life! Besides Aldon being off the charts adorable, he is so happy and loved!
