Warning: Ollie’s newborn puppy session will probably leave you with the sudden urge to get a puppy.
Maybe that was just me. I have known Ollie’s family for over a decade. Andrea (Ollie’s mom) and I used to work at Pier 1’s corporate office together. We were pregnant with our first and second babies together and have kept our friendship and had family dates over the years. I adore their family. Before Ollie, there was Dexter who looked almost identical to Ollie. Dexter lived 17 wonderful years. Yep, 17! How incredible is that? Sadly, around Christmas, Dexter went to heaven. As we all know…all dogs go to heaven.
Fast forward a few months down the road, sweet Ollie joined the family. We did what any normal person would do, we had a newborn puppy photo shoot. I mean, can you even deal? Because I can’t. Have you ever seen the Looney Tunes girl that over hugs and squeezes animals? Yep, that was me.
We laughed so hard. Truly, when the bonnet came out and Ollie looked at me like I had officially lost my mind, I was crying from laughter. Sweet Ollie was showered with treats and love for being such a good sport.
Then he broke the internet because he’s so darn adorable.
Pet photography (especially puppies) is no joke. It’s like doing newborn photography with a toddler who has ADHD. Thank you Deales for sharing Ollie with me and for letting me hug and kiss all over him!
