Sierra’s urban senior session is one of my very favorite senior sessions yet. When you photograph areas around town sometimes you just feel like you need something to mix it up so you’re not going to the same places over and over again. Sierra loves art and color and is even pursuing art after high school. So I heard of this area of Fort Worth and knew she was the perfect senior for this location. Meet the Foundry District of Fort Worth. Isn’t it amazing? I’m a color junkie and all this color makes me so happy! All the pops of color, the whimsical art and just trying something unique and perfect for Sierra made this a breath of fresh air to try something new. We both fell in love with it at the session and I love it when a senior is up for something new sight unseen.
Sierra’s parents wanted to incorporate some family photos into the session because they couldn’t remember the last time they had family photos taken. I am ALWAYS up for family photos at the senior session, especially before one of the kids goes to college. It’s a big milestone not only for the senior, but also for the family. I just love how their joy is so evident. They are such a beautiful and close family.
This location was the perfect fit for Sierra’s urban senior session. Sierra just graduated from Boswell High School this past spring and I can’t wait to hear where her love for the arts takes her after high school.
