I love this cousin session! This family has a very special place in my heart. Lauren and Courtney are sisters and we went to church together. I’ve known them since I was in high school. I gave rides to Lauren in high school and was a youth group sponsor for Courtney. Now they are all grown up with beautiful families.
Lauren and Courtney were also the VERY first Rooted in Love Photography clients! What a big step they took believing in me before I even had a clue what I was doing.
Lauren’s husband’s job took them to live overseas in Switzerland. So she comes back every summer to spend time with family. I’ve been blessed enough to capture them before their sweet Kate came in the picture. Anytime she’s in town we have to capture these cousins.
But what I love the most about these kids is that since I’ve been around this crew for quite some time, I feel comfortable busting out my best tricks in the bag. And, every time they make me feel like a comedian, even in 90 degree summer swamp heat in Texas.
Thank you Lauren and Courtney for your friendship, for being my very first believers and seeing something in me long ago and for paying me the sweetest compliment by coming back for me to capture all these sweet memories of your kids growing up.
