Olivia’s Botanical Garden senior session has been in the works for over a year. Her sweet mom contacted me before her junior year and knew that she and Olivia wanted to do Olivia’s senior photos with me. Wow, what an amazing compliment. So I was more than happy to get Olivia’s session on the calendar in May when temperatures in Texas are actually bearable. Note to all of next year’s seniors….do what Olivia did. Trust me, July and August sessions are brutal.
We did Olivia’s session at the beautiful Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. Our Botanical Gardens always provides a beautiful backdrop. The only issue was that this happened to be the same evening that several other proms were happening in the area so there seemed to be a lot of sparkly dresses and black ties everywhere we turned. But where there’s a will, there’s a way. We found different angles and beautiful flowers to make it look like we were the only ones there.
We finished up Olivia’s session at the Fort Worth Modern Museum. Love how her session had both an urban and garden feel. It was a perfect combination of it all.
Olivia, what a precious sweet soul you are. I can’t wait to see what your senior year holds.
