I’ve been looking forward to this McLemore family session for a long time coming. This family and ours go way back. Rewind more than a decade ago to when we first met Doug and Emily at church. Back then there was only three of them in their sweet family. We instantly connected and had so many things in common. We were sad when they moved to Stephenville to be closer to family but were relieved that they didn’t move too far away.
Doug and Emily were some of my very first clients four years ago when their youngest, Kylie, had just turned 3. I captured her and will never forget them believing and trusting in me to photograph her when I didn’t have the experience to back it up. Sometimes, our friends believe in us more than we believe in ourselves. I’m so grateful for that.
Here we are four years later from that first session and I’m so honored to capture these family images as their family has grown. These girls are absolutely incredible. Truly all three of them are unstoppable. They’re all so talented in so many different ways. All three girls with their gorgeous hair and smiles were wonderful sports as we powered through a mosquito war zone. My personal favorite is the photo of Doug with all of his girls wrapped up in his hands in a big hug, there’s seriously just nothing better and you can just SEE the love.
Doug and Emily, I’m so honored that you drove all the way to Fort Worth to capture these, that I’ve been part of telling your family story over the years. Thank you for having faith in me from the very beginning.
