As a Fort Worth newborn photographer, I’ve had the privilege of capturing countless precious moments. However, my recent session with identical twins JT and Thomas was a first for me, bringing both excitement and a touch of nervousness.
When the family arrived at the studio, the anticipation was palpable. Mom and I shared the same concern: how would we tell these adorable boys apart? We came up with a clever solution – leaving their hospital bracelets on and carefully hiding them in the photos. To further differentiate between JT and Thomas, we incorporated color coding, using green for one twin and blue for the other.
Throughout the session, I found myself constantly double-checking those bracelets, ensuring each baby was correctly identified in every shot. It was a learning experience that added an extra layer of care to my usual newborn photography process.
The session wasn’t just about the twins, though. We made sure to include their proud big sisters in some heartwarming sibling photos. The girls were absolute sweethearts and proved to be excellent helpers during the shoot. Of course, we rounded out the session with beautiful family portraits, capturing the love and joy of this growing family.
While we focused on several setups featuring the boys together, I also made sure to capture individual shots of JT and Thomas. As any Fort Worth newborn photographer knows, each baby deserves their moment in the spotlight!
For this special session, I brought in an assistant to help manage the twins. This extra set of hands was invaluable, not only in ensuring the babies’ comfort and safety but also in capturing behind-the-scenes videos. These clips offer a fascinating glimpse into the intricate process of a newborn twin photo session.
As a Fort Worth newborn photographer, sessions like these remind me why I love my job. Every family has a unique story, and it’s my privilege to help tell it through beautiful, timeless images.
