As a Dallas/Fort Worth senior photographer, I typically find myself capturing memories around Fort Worth, but for this session, I ventured over to Dallas for an extra special client—Ella, a senior at Prosper High School. Ella wanted her senior photos to reflect her future as she prepares to head to Dallas Baptist University (DBU), and what better way to do that than incorporating the iconic charm of Dallas?
This session was particularly meaningful for me. I grew up with Ella’s mom, and we’ve known each other since middle school. Now, we both have high school seniors at the same time! It was such a joy to capture these moments for Ella, knowing how special this time is for her family.
We chose Highland Park Village as the backdrop, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The classic Dallas vibe matched the look Ella was going for, and her outfits were on point, allowing for a fun variety of poses and styles. Each shot seemed to capture a different side of her personality and style, and the energy was contagious.
The highlight of the session was when Ella’s older sister, who is already attending DBU, surprised her. We made sure to capture plenty of photos of them together, both in their DBU gear, which added such a heartfelt and personal touch to the session.
As a Dallas/Fort Worth senior photographer, I feel so grateful for moments like these—where I can connect with clients on a personal level and help create beautiful memories that celebrate their unique stories. Congratulations, Ella! I can’t wait to see all the amazing things you’ll do at DBU!
