Can you even believe how precious this sweet baby girl is?! I mean she is absolutely perfect! Emma Grace, your sweet face! I have no idea how your mom gets anything done. I would stare at you all day long if I were your mama.
Emma Grace’s mom had to undergo surgery to determine some on-going pain. She had no idea that she would find out a week later that she had been very early pregnant during the surgery and multiple blood tests didn’t catch it. It was a pregnancy full of wondering if things were ok. It was a very stressful pregnancy, with determining if the pregnancy was viable, to false positive screenings and tests throughout her pregnancy. How appropriate that her name is Emma Grace! Her parents know that God is so faithful and are beyond grateful for this perfectly healthy baby girl after a time of so much uncertainty.
I met Emma Grace’s sweet mom, Jennifer, many years ago. She and I were in an alternative certification program together while we were beginning our teaching careers. Now, neither one of us are teachers and we each have three kids so a lot has changed since I met her.
I’m so grateful to capture these images of Emma Grace and for her sweet mama and her friendship.
