One of my favorite things about being a Fort Worth senior photographer is working with these seniors on such a huge milestone in their life. I still have my senior photos and the experience is one I don’t forget. I love being part of their life story. What an honor.
Mary is an Aledo High School senior and is on the varsity softball team. You know the team that won the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP last year. Yep, that one…and she was part of it.
I met up with Mary and her mom on her Spring Break. The day of the session it was gloomy and cloudy, but I was just thankful that no rain was in the forecast after several nasty days.
But right as Mary’s session started this beautiful blonde brought the sunshine with her and the sun came in and out of the clouds at the most perfect times. I love it when that happens. I could have photographed Mary in pouring rain and she still would’ve looked beautiful so that didn’t really matter.
Posing can sometimes be hard. It’s the first time for some seniors to be in front of the camera (all by themselves for an extended time). So we always start with safe/comfortable poses to get everyone a little more relaxed. I could tell right away Mary was a natural. I mean it was effortless to pose her. It wasn’t even really posing, it truly was just letting her personality shine in her session. I hope that you can tell just by looking at these images just how much fun we had, because we totally did.
Mary is attending Texas Tech this fall. I love that she incorporated Red Raider red for one of her outfits. And that dress…she twirled and twirled and we got some great shots with it.
Mary, I know that this fall with your personality you will not be short of making friends in Lubbock. I wish you the very best and thank you for allowing me to capture your senior photos.
