Matt contacted me and said his family was in town from Minnesota and could I capture them as they wanted family photos of the whole fam together. He warned me that there would four little ones so it might be chaotic. Good thing I know all about chaos from my own crew!
Let me just say that the Gibson crew…they are the most excellent participants. The hardest part of being a photographer is trying to convince everyone that participation is the main ingredient to heartfelt images. In general, the dads tend to be the grumpiest, but not with this crew. Ring around the rosy, tickling, pat-a-cake, singing was had by all and that’s why in each photo you can catch a glimpse that this family is full of love! We were all sweating by the end of the session but it was so worth it!
What a treasure for this family to have these images. I think the grandparents are smiling the biggest in all of these because they were in their happy place with all their family together.
