Cringe alert…ok maybe I’m the one cringing. Recording yourself is never easy.
I was asked by Shoot & Share to make a video of the story behind the “Monkey jumping on the bed” photo that won 13th place in the Children’s category earlier this year. The Shoot & Share contest had over 225,000 images submitted so I’m truly completely baffled that this photo won 13th place. I wasn’t going to make a video because that would involve getting out of my yoga pants and brushing my hair, but I thought about it and realized that I’ve never ever had a photo do this well and this is sort of a once-in-a-lifetime shot that this happened so I needed to embrace the opportunity.
There’s a little bit of photography nerd talk in it but for the most part, it’s about the story of the “behind the scenes”.
