When an Iowan with Texas roots contacts you for her senior session, it’s pretty exciting. It’s not very often that I get to work with out of state clients. Grace has lived in Ames, Iowa for a few years but lived in Texas for many years growing up and Texas has such a special place in her heart. She said she had always dreamed of having her senior photos done in Texas. So when she was in town this summer visiting with friends and going to camp, it was the perfect opportunity!
Grace is a 2017 senior at Gilbert High School. She is a busy girl with soccer, swimming, and is the boys’ basketball manager. She is so excited that her senior year is finally here! She is looking forward to a shorter schedule this year to help prepare for college and being the oldest on campus When you meet Grace you immediately see she is so genuinely kind, cheerful but also a strong girl.
Grace is really passionate about equal rights and standing up for others. Which is probably why what she loves so much about high school is meeting such wonderful friends. Her dreams after high school are to go to school and live in Australia. Her dream job would be to work in Public Relations for Drake. How cool would that be?
Grace’s mom, one of her best friends that she’s known since kindergarten and her mom all came along for Grace’s session. It truly just felt like a girls day. We had such a blast and laughed so much. We made sure to capture images with her bestie and definitely with her sweet mom.
What an honor it has been to meet Grace and that she traveled here for her session.
I can’t wait to see the wonderful things is store for her this year and beyond.
