I first met Mason’s parents when they were announcing they were pregnant. We did a pregnancy announcement and were thrilled to already know that they were expecting a boy! It’s so fun getting to be part of secrets as a Fort Worth newborn photographer. It’s so hard to keep the exciting news under wraps but it’s SO worth it! Then we did a maternity session so by the time it came for Mason’s newborn photos, I felt like I was family with this fun crew. One of my favorite parts of my job is getting to be part of big life events and telling family stories.
Mason was a DREAM baby. Slept like a champ, and big sis was also a dream. Posing and loving on her baby brother like a total natural. We did some rainbow baby setups which are some of my very favorite to do. A “rainbow baby” is a baby that is born following a miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal death or infant loss. In the real world, a beautiful and bright rainbow follows a storm and gives hope of things getting better. The rainbow is more appreciated having just experienced the storm in comparison. What a honor to capture and see these smiles holding sweet Mason.
Mason just hit the jackpot being born into this family. He is going to have a lifetime of love and support.
