One of the most rewarding parts of being a Fort Worth family photographer is the relationships that grow over time. I first met this sweet family when I took their oldest son’s newborn photos. Back then, we were just starting their story, capturing those early, sleepy days of parenthood and the joy of welcoming their first baby. Now, all these years later, I’ve had the privilege of photographing them through every season of life—milestones, birthdays, family sessions, and everything in between. Since then, I’ve had the honor of photographing all three of their children’s newborn sessions—and we even did a birth session for one of them, which made it extra special.
It’s truly an honor to be their storyteller through photos, to watch their family grow and change, and to freeze these fleeting moments for them year after year. We always have fun during our sessions, but this one felt especially magical. After having to reschedule due to illness, we ended up with the most incredible timing. Fall came late to Fort Worth this year, and by December, the trees were finally showing off vibrant shades of red, gold, and orange.
Honestly, it looked like something straight out of New England—except it was right here in Texas! The late-season fall colors gave us the most gorgeous backdrop for this family’s session, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
I love capturing families in beautiful locations, but it’s the connections and history we share that make these photos so meaningful. Each session is a chance to tell another chapter of their story. This family’s story began with newborn photos years ago, and I’m so grateful to still be here capturing it.
