Sometimes, as a Fort Worth family photographer, I feel like I’ve just hit the jackpot. I have a gorgeous mama and daughter who say “they’re game for wherever” and are ready for a session in the fall…my favorite season.
Jennifer wanted to do a mommy & me session with her precious sweet girl, Emery, who is 3. This is such a magical age between a mom and daughter…when your mom is your hero, your world. Those days that you just want to bottle them up because you know that one day you’ll look back and realize you blinked and she’s grown up, but these moments when you can hold her and wrap are in your arms are so sacred.
So to be asked to capture this precious time of snuggles, laughter, silly songs, and playing was a such a honor. These genuine moments of their love for each other I know will be treasured always by both. That’s the thing about photography, it allows you to capture a moment that you don’t realize is so precious until it becomes a memory.
This session really inspired me. I know how much Emery will treasure these when she’s grown. This opened up my eyes that I really wanted to get photos of me with my children. I’m so thankful that this mama opened my eyes to see how important it is for every mom to be on the other side of the camera.
